 Those of you who order wine have received (or will receive) pick-up notices (by post or email) from the LCBO instructing you to collect your wine at 33 Freeland Street in Toronto, indicating fines and penalties if you don’t do so quickly and telling you that you owe them for the wine. Please ignore these notices! They do not apply to Members of Arthur’s Cellar Wine Club.
As previously reported, the LCBO wants you to be aware that it is they who control the customer relationship when it comes to the sale of beverage alcohol in Ontario. They do so by sending out these notices.
Our services are unique and as the result these messages do not apply to our clients. The LCBO is aware of the problem and we are working with them to find a solution that meets both our needs. However, until such a solution is found, they will continue to send them out. Please ignore these notices!
