Title Another Chance This Year to be King and Queen of the Castle!!!
Attachment
Bulletin Untitled Page

Provence is so full of a number of things,
I'm sure we should all be as happy as kings
.
(With apologies to Robert Louis Stevenson)

Hélène’s 2011 O! France tour to Provence sold out long ago. However, the owner of the Castle in Goult where we are staying has just advised that she has a cancellation for the week prior to ours – September 17 to 24. Would we be interested in living like kings and queens for another week?

Of course, the answer all depends on whether we can find enough fellow adventures to fill the château for a second week (and quickly – the owners will want to reopen their reservation system soon). Some of those already booked have indicated they would be interested in a second week. Would you like to join the court?

Please get in touch to reserve or for more information. The original 2011 invitation adjust for the second week follows:

Have you ever longed to be queen for a day; better still, for a week? Have you ever wanted to be king of the castle; at least for half a fortnight? And, with all of Provence as your realm?

The spectacular village of Gordes

It is possible if you join Hélène on her 2011 Tour of Provence. You see, she has changed her base of operations from the gracious country manor near Avignon to a lavishly restored 14th century castle in the hilltop town of Goult in the Lubéron - Peter Mayle country.

Le Château de Goult will be your base (no packing and unpacking once you settle in to your completely modernized mediaeval chambers) from which you will enjoy day trips in a private, chauffeur-driven Mercedes mini-bus to wondrous parts of your kingdom.

You will discover the Lubéron, a quiet peaceful region of Provence with historic perched villages, many of which carry the designation of Most Beautiful Village in France. Visit colourful Provençal markets, historical sights, Avignon and Châteauneuf du Pape, Vaison-la-Romaine and Gigondas, Uzès and the Pont du Gard, Orange, our neighbour, the wonderful colourful hilltop village of Roussillon and more.

And back at your castle, you will experience Provence from the top of the watchtower with breathtaking views over the countryside - or from one of the many terraces while sipping a glass of rosé, or a premier cru Champagne

My favourite times are the dinners. Each is prepared by a local culinary wizard and is complemented by a selection of fine wines from Arthur's Cellar (no relation to he of the round table). In fact, the 'Arthur's Cellar Moment' has become a legendary component of Hélène's tours (and gives me a credible reason to tag along). Conversations flow, the days' activities are recounted, lasting friendships are formed and the good fellowship lasts well into the night.

You can find out all about this adventure fit for royalty on Hélène's O!France website. We hope you can join our court in late September 2011. But don't tarry ... seventy percent of Hélène's guests are repeat revellers. Please contact Hélène for more information or special requests.
