Bulletin Detail Date March 27, 2008  Title A Special Dinner at Bodega Restaurant - Because We Need It!!  Attachment Bodega_Impromptu_Matching_Dinner.pdf  Bulletin Circumstances have conspired to make our favourite room at Bodega Restaurant available on Saturday, April 12th. Paul Biggs, Proprietor and head chef at Bodega and I got to talking (grousing about the weather and such) and decided that we should organize a very special wine and food pairing evening, hoping that many of our wine club members would welcome the opportunity to beat the bad weather blues - albeit a last minute one. So Paul went to work and created a most sumptuous meal. Then I rummaged around in Arthur’s Cellar to find appropriate wines to go with each course. The result is attached. The cost is only $110 per person - everything included (taxes, tips … the whole shebang). Hors d’oeuvres and Blanquette de Limoux will be served at 6:30 with the feast to commence at 7:00. Please call Paul or Leona at Bodega at (416) 977-1287 for reservations. They will ask for credit payment when you call. Please drop me an e-mail to let me know you are coming. If, in the unlikely event we do not get at least 20 people for this bad weather blues beating bash, we will not be able to hold the event and your payment will be returned in full.
