Title A Good Deal Gets A Good Deal Better!
Bulletin Untitled Page

Dear Arthur’s Cellar Wine Club Member:

Bernard and Aline Giuliani in a galet-strewn vineyard
We Just received a note from Bernard Giuliani of Domaine Giuliani apologizing for the fact that he quoted too high a price for his stellar 2015 ‘Les Notes de Louis’ Côtes du Rhône! This means that we in turn over-charged you by $2.00 per bottle for this little gem. So, we will be sending those of you who ordered this wine an ‘Interac’ refund of $2.00 the bottle. And, for those who would have purchased it at the reduced price, we are making it available once again for a limited time. We will now be taking your orders for this lovely Grenache-based wine to the LCBO on Monday, March 21st.

2015 ‘Les Notes de Louis’ Côtes du Rhône – 15.0% Alc./Vol.
$18/$108 case of 6
 $17/$204 case of 12

This glorious Côte du Rhône is made from almost 100% Grenache - and the Giulianis are very, very talented Grenache growers. And I can’t over-emphasize how good the 2015 vintage is. This little beauty is a brilliant ruby colour and exhibits a pronounced, lively nose of raspberries, plums, cherries and exotic spices. In the mouth these persist, accompanied by black currents and hints of pepper and licorice. It is big and wonderfully round and supple with silky tannins and surprising length. This stunner will go marvellously with savoury tarts and grilled meats. While drinking well now, it will keep nicely for at least three or four years. Note the small discount for the twelve-bottle case! Order your wonderful, extremely well-priced Southern Rhône now

The LCBO is the only entity authorized to sell beverage alcohol in Ontario. Arthur Sellers & Company and Arthur’s Cellar Wine Club do not sell or markup beverage alcohol, but rather, arrange for customers to purchase it from the LCBO. Our prices indicated above and on our website include the LCBO sale price plus a fee to cover the cost of sourcing, handling and marketing the wine. The LCBO’s sale prices are available on request.

Please pass this note on to anyone you think would enjoy some absolutely terrific, well-priced Côtes du Rhône (is there anyone who wouldn’t?).
